Unnathi Skill Centres ( Collaborative Skill Development )

Sevabharathi has been establishing Unnathi Skill Centres across Kerala, either independently or in collaboration with various partners, to promote vocational training and employment opportunities for youth.

These centres offer skill-based courses such as:

Stitching and tailoring
Tally and accounting
Plumbing
General Duty Assistant (GDA) training
Other livelihood and employability skills

Many of these centres are run in partnership with different organizations and corporate groups. For example, in collaboration with Jaquar Group, a specialised Unnathi Skill Centre for plumbing was launched. The centre includes a modern Water Skill Expert Lab, where trainees receive hands-on practical training in plumbing and water management systems.

This model of collaboration helps expand training opportunities, ensuring that young people gain practical skills, industry exposure, and better employment prospects, enabling them to build a brighter future.
