
WWayanad : The Sevamithram project of Sevabharathi, initiated during the Wayanad disaster, has successfully completed its first year of service activities and entered its second phase. The relief efforts, which were initially focused on the flood-affected people of Chooralmala, are now being expanded to more panchayats. As part of this expansion, essential palliative care tool kits were distributed to Sevamithrams. These tool kits were collected jointly by Sevabharathi and the K Chittilappilly Foundation. The distribution ceremony was held today, 16 October 2025, at the Sevabharathi Wayanad District Headquarters.
The event was presided over by District President Satyan Nair. State Organization Secretary Rajeev, State Project Coordinator Satheesh Kumar, State Executive Member M.D. Shyamala, and District Janasecretary V.A. Suresh also participated in the function.
