& Pavithreswaram Panchayat under the auspices of Pavithreswaram Sevabharati
Yesterday World Environment Day celebrations were held in four schools namely Maranad Govt.LPS, Edavattam K.S.M.V.H.S. School, Kaitakode Govt.L.P School and Puttur Srihari Vidyaniketan. Pavithreswaram Sevabharati Honorary Patron Dr. S. Suresh Kumar conducted an environmental awareness class for the children. Other children took the environmental pledge recited by the student representatives of the schools. Then eco-friendly paper pens containing vegetable seeds were distributed to the children. As part of the Divyang welfare activities of Pavitreswaram Sevabharathi, paper pens made by Divyang sister Shrimati Anita were distributed to the children. About 600 pens and paper were distributed in all the four schools.
