TThe 12th vanvasi girl also got married as part of the charitable services in the Vithura Kottur forest area.
The Thiruvananthapuram district committee of Sevabharathi helped V Sumik, daughter of Anirudhan and Beena of Puthenveettil in Vithura Maruthuvamala Kizhakkumkara. The marriage of the 12 forest-dwelling girls is a result of the work of Sevabharathi, which has become a support to the forest dwellers through its athura service. This time it was the daughter of Beena, a member of the Eettimoodu Mathru Samithi, whose financial difficulties had put her daughter's marriage in crisis. Though the marriage proposals came up, financial problems became a hindrance and the mathru samiti activists who came to know about this informed the district unit of Sevabharathi, following which the intervention of the district committee helped Beena's family.
Sevabharathi served a colleague by taking care of expenses ranging from invitation cards to sadhyas required for the wedding. Vishnu, son of Vijayan and Ramani of Vithura Thallachira Mekkara house, offered varanamalyam to Sumi. Along with the members of the mathru samiti, Ooru Moopan Bhuvanachandran Kani, Sevabharathi organization secretary Vinu Kumar and others were present on the occasion.
