TThiruvananthapuram : Sevabharati volunteers extended a helping hand of compassion by providing a safe home for Aparna, a 10th-grade student of Sarathi Tuition Centre. Aparna had been living with her family for years in an unfinished house without doors or windows. Realizing their difficult situation, Seva Bharati volunteers completed the construction and renovation of the house and provided the family with a safe living facility.
Aparna’s father Murugan was diagnosed with cancer, which further worsened the family’s financial condition. When Aparna stopped attending tuition classes for a few days, teachers from Sarathi Tuition Centre visited her home and understood the situation. They informed the Seva Bharati district committee, and work began to complete the construction of the house. Through the intervention of SevaBharathi & support from KChittilappilly Foundation , a safe and dignified new life has opened up for Aparna and her family.
