TThiruvananthapuram :  The 2026 District Workshop of Deseeya SevaBharati, Thiruvananthapuram District, was held on Sunday, July 26, at Sree Bhadra Auditorium, Vellanad, under the chairmanship of District President Shri B. Manu. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Ranjith Vijayahari, State President of Deseeya SevaBharati. Shri Rajesh, Vibhag Seva Pramukh of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Thiruvananthapuram Vibhag, attended as the chief guest. District Secretary Shri P. Ayyappan presented the annual activity report, while District Treasurer Smt. K. C. Lathadevi presented the annual financial statement.

The workshop commenced with a video message from Dr. Sreeram Shankar, State General Secretary of SevaBharati. The event was attended by office bearers of SevaBharati units across the district, members of the district and state committees, and numerous volunteers. Detailed sessions were conducted on topics such as the changes required in service activities in the contemporary context, organisational growth, working methodologies, and innovative approaches in the field of social service. Classes focusing on the organisation's vision, mission, values, organisational culture, and social impact were conducted by Shri B. Manu, Shri Prashanth Kumar, Smt. K. C. Lathadevi, and Dr. Sabu K. Nair. These sessions aimed to enhance the efficiency of volunteers and strengthen organisational development by emphasizing the values of ethics, selfless service, and commitment.

During the valedictory session, District Secretary Smt. Neelima R. Kurup presented the implementation guidelines and detailed action plan for the various service projects to be undertaken by SevaBharati units during the 2026–27 working year. At the concluding session, the Vibhag Seva Pramukh of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Thiruvananthapuram Vibhag, announced the office bearers of the Rashtriya Seva Bharati Thiruvananthapuram District for the 2026–27 term. Dr. Ranjith Vijayahari, State President, delivered the Seva Sandesh (message of service) on the occasion.

A 29-member District Committee was announced for the 2026–27 working year, led by Shri B. Manu as President, Shri P. Ayyappan as General Secretary, and Smt. K. C. Lathadevi as Treasurer.
