
TThiruvananthapuram : Under the leadership of Sevabharathi, a palliative care volunteer training program was organized for people from all wards of Pavithreswaram Panchayat. The training session was held on Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon at Kaithakode Aishwarya Auditorium. The program was inaugurated by Dr. S. Suresh Kumar, Puthoor Khand Sanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, by lighting the ceremonial lamp. At the inaugural meeting, presided over by Sevabharathi Pavithreswaram unit President Rajeev Muttathara, Sevabharathi Kollam District General Secretary P. S. Sreejith delivered the keynote address. Secretary S. Sujith Kumar delivered the welcome speech, and Treasurer R. Girish Kurup proposed the vote of thanks. The palliative care training session was led by Archana Anilkumar, State Nursing Coordinator of Sevabharathi’s Palliative Care wing, with participation from more than 50 people from various areas. The training was organized as part of the Sukrutham Palliative Care Project run by Sevabharathi.
