
SSevabharathi has also helped the life of a forest-dwelling girl in Thiruvananthapuram district.
Sevabharathi arranged the marriage of R Remya, daughter of Mr Raveendran Kani and S Jalaja of Amboori forest area. This is the 11th wedding to be held in the Sevabharathi forest area. Sooraj, son of Amboori Kudappanamoodu Sree Surendran Kani and Padmavathi, became Ramya's groom. Ramya's family lived in Aaru Kani near the Tamil Nadu border. Ramya's mother has been undergoing treatment for a stomach ailment for a long time. Ramya's marriage proposals have come to a standstill as she is unable to make them. Ramya also has a sister. The forest area matru samithi activists, who came to know about the plight of the family, along with Sevabharathi forest area district coordinator Sri Vinu, reached the house and then decided to conduct Ramya's marriage with the help of Sevabharathi district committee.
