TThrissur : Seva Bharathi envisions social transformation through service by reaching out to people from different sections of society, working alongside them, and bringing about a positive change in their lives and outlook, fostering a strong sense of patriotism, said Shri Vijay Puranik, National Deputy General Secretary of Seva Bharathi. He emphasised that Seva work should not be limited to saving lives, but should also focus on “Jeevan Nirman” — building and transforming lives. Every Seva Bharathi volunteer should work with this focus and strive to bring about lasting positive change through service, he added.
Shri Vijay Puranik was speaking at a special executive meeting held at Seva Bharathi Irinjalakuda on 23 September 2026 as part of his Kerala Pravas. Deseeya Seva Bharathi Kerala Vice President Shri P. K. Unnikrishnan, Secretary Shri Satheesh G., State Organising Secretary Shri Rajeev G., Irinjalakuda Seva Bharathi President Shri Nalin Babu, and Seva Bharathi District Organising Secretary Shri Sanish G. were present at the meeting.
Seva Bharathi Patron Shri Sivanandan, Vice Presidents, Joint Secretaries, Treasurer, Executive Committee members, and around 16 executive members of Irinjalakuda Seva Bharathi also attended the meeting.
After the meeting, Irinjalakuda Seva Bharathi President Shri Nalin Babu presented Shri Vijay Puranik with a portrait of Lord Koodalmanikyam as a token of affection.
