FFor the last 12 years, seva bharathi has been organizing annadaanam in association with other Hindu community, social and voluntary organizations for the festival of Kodungallur Kurumbakavilamma.  Ahead of the festival, 84 locations in Kodungallur and surrounding areas were flooded with products to fill the storehouse.As many as 687 swayamsevaks, 843 Matrushakti activists, ayurveda, allopathy and homoeopathic doctors, Sevabharathi palliative workers and ambulance service workers lined up in Kodungallur for these three days.  

Apart from annadhanam, 24-hour drinking water supply, medical assistance, ambulance service and information centre were also arranged at the annadana pandal. Over three days, more than 1.5 lakh devotees participated in the annadanam.

Prior to the service activities held on April 7-9, the inaugural assembly was held on the morning of the 7th and the concluding assembly on the 9th on the last day.

Kochi Devaswom President Dr. M.K. Sudarshan inaugurated the inaugural session, Kodungallur Kovilakam Valiya Thampuran Kunjunni Raja lit the bhadra deepam and Sevabharathi Thrissur district patron Retd. Major General Dr. P. Vivekanandan delivered the introductory address and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Dakshina Kerala Prant Pracharak Sri S. Sudarsanan delivered the Seva Sandesh.

Kochi Devaswom Member, Kochi Devaswom Assistant Commissioner, KS Padmanabhan Vibhag Sanghachalak, Adv. M. Trivikraman Adikal, Temple Advisory Committee Secretary Sri Vijayan, Annadana Samiti Chairman Prof. Narayanankutty Menon, Shri P.G. Sasikumar, Sri Sundaresan Master and others participated in the meeting.

In the concluding session on the last day, Prof. Narayanankutty Menon presided over the function and swayamsevaks and Seva Shakti activists who participated in the yajna shared their experiences in the yajna.
