CChalakudy : Seva Bharathi and Krishi Bhavan jointly organized a training program titled “Efficiency Enhancement – 2026”. The training program was conducted as part of the “Abhivrudhi” self-employment project implemented by Seva Bharathi, Chalakudy. All participants received detailed classes and practical training on starting vegetable cultivation at home. The program was held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the Sanathana Seva Samithi Hall in Koodappuzha, where Mrs. Girija, a retired professor from the Kerala Agricultural University, led the classes and practical sessions. The event was chaired by Mr. Peethambaran. Mrs. Jijimol K.D., Assistant Agriculture Officer at Chalakudy Krishi Bhavan, explained the project details. In addition, Dr. Manoj, retired Deputy Director of the Horticulture Department, and Mrs. Deepthi K.R. (ATMA) also addressed the gathering.
Through the Abhivrudhi self-employment project, the training was effectively organized to further strengthen the agricultural sector in Chalakudy and promote family-based vegetable farming.
