TThrissur : Punarjani Counselling Centres, an initiative of Sevabharathi Kerala aimed at promoting mental health and social well-being, were inaugurated at four locations in Thrissur district — Valapad, Irinjalakuda, Ayyanthole and Venkidangu. The Punarjani Centre at Irinjalakuda was inaugurated by Sri. P. K. Ramadan, President of Sevabharathi Thrissur District and Retired Superintendent of Police, CBI. The Ayyanthole Centre was inaugurated by Dr. K. Padmakumar, the Valapad Centre by Dr. Nalini Balakrishnan, Retired Eye Specialist and Civil Surgeon, and the centre at Balika Sadanam, Venkidangu, by Sri Navaneeth Krishna, Associate Professor and Head of Department at Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda College, Thaikkattussery. Speaking at the inauguration of the Irinjalakuda Centre, Sri. P. K. Ramadevan highlighted the growing importance and relevance of Punarjani Counselling Centres in addressing the changing social realities and challenges faced by Kerala society.
