TThrissur: The formation of the Anti-Drug People's Assembly District Committee held in Thrissur with the message "Lahari Muktha Keralam Arogyayuktha Keralam" was inaugurated by the District Treasurer of the Traders and Industry Coordination Committee, Mr. Joy Moothedan. The function was presided over by the Deseeya Sevabharathi Thrissur District Vice President, Dr. Pratheesh C. B. The function was welcomed by the Thrissur vibag Sahaseva Pramukh, Mr. P. V. Shaji. Dr. B. Rajeev, Ayush Health Center Ayurveda Physician, delivered the keynote address. Chalakudy Range Assistant Excise Inspector, Mr. K. K. Raju, provided training and Peramangalam Sree Durga Vilasam Head Teacher, Mrs. Smitha Teacher administered the oath and Sevabharathi District Secretary, Mrs. Geetha Teacher, gave the vote of thanks. Narcotics Control Zonal Director, Mr. Venugopal G. Kurup was the chief guest at the function. Honorable Division Sanghchalak, Mr. K. S. Padmanabhan announced the members of the District Committee. A 101-member committee was formed with Mr. KN Gunawardena IAS(retd) as the chairman.
