TThrissur : Sevabharathi Irinjalakuda, under its education wing, organized a “Kishori Vikas” study camp for adolescent girls. The event was held at the Sevabharathi Sangameshwara Vanaprastha Ashram, Irinjalakuda, and was presided over by Sevabharathi President Nalin Babu. The camp was inaugurated by Arya Sumesh, Councilor of Ward 26, Irinjalakuda Municipality. Dr. Padma Warrier (MBBS, DGO, MD Gynecology), a renowned gynecologist and former Civil Surgeon (Retired), currently practicing at Elite Hospital, Thrissur, conducted an awareness class for the participants on health-related issues during adolescence. More than fifty girls aged between 13 and 23 years, from various parts of Irinjalakuda Municipality, participated in the camp. Rajilakshmi Suresh Babu, Executive Committee Member of Sevabharathi, delivered the welcome address, and I. Ravindran, Treasurer, offered the vote of thanks.
