AAs an epitome of solidarity and compassion towards the distressed people of Wayanad, an elderly couple of Thrissur, Mr. P.K. Krishna Pillai and his wife traveled to Wayanad to contribute to the flood relief efforts. Hailing from Alagappa Nagar in Amballur, they started the yatra to ensure that their support reaches the affected people.
Mr. Krishnapilla, a retired army officer, and his wife contacted several people to find a credible organization to hand over their donations. Sevabharathi then transferred their care to Wayanad to ensure that it reaches the intended beneficiaries.
Their selfless act is proof of the spirit of the Kerala community, which came together to help those affected by the floods. Despite their old age, the couple's determination to travel from Thrissur to Wayanad is a shining example of compassion and empathy.
