Seva Bharati Sukrutham Palliative Care Gathering, Kulanada

KKulanada: The Kulanada Unit of Sevabharathi organized the fourth anniversary of the Sukritam Santhwanam Elderly Care Project, along with a Palliative Care Service Gathering, Onakkodi distribution, and Onam feast. The programme was held at the Kulanada Devi Temple Auditorium. The event was inaugurated by Ajay Kumar Valyozhath, Manager of Aranmula Vijayananda Vidyapeetham and Managing Trustee of Pullad Amrithadhara Gaushala. Anil Kumar T., Sevabharathi Pathanamthitta District Treasurer and President of the Kulanada Unit, presided over the function.

Adv. D. Ashok Kumar, District President of Sevabharathi; Gireesh Kumar, RSS Kerala Pranth Sah Seva Pramukh; and G. Binu, RSS District Seva Pramukh, addressed the gathering.

The programme highlighted the importance of palliative care and the need to provide continued care, compassion, and support to elderly people and those requiring palliative assistance. As part of the service activities, Onakkodi was distributed to the beneficiaries, followed by a traditional Onam feast. Adv. Sujith V.B., Vice President of the Sevabharathi Unit, delivered the welcome address, while V. Rajalakshmiyamma, Sukritam Palliative Care Coordinator, proposed the vote of thanks.

The gathering provided renewed momentum to the ongoing service initiatives of the Sukritam project and reaffirmed Sevabharathi's commitment to caring for the elderly and supporting those in need of palliative care.
