PPalakkad: As part of the “Thalachaikkanoridam” project jointly implemented by Seva Bharathi and K. Chittilappilly Foundation, the key handover of the 80th house built in Kerala in the year 2025-26 was held on the morning of March 25, 2026. The key handover of the house built for Mrs. K. S. Saira Begum, a native of Papadi in Ward 19 of Akathethara Panchayat, and her family was organized. Seva Bharathi Akathethara President Jayakumar Nair presided over the function, and Seva Bharathi District Vice President Sudhakaran Angepattum and Akathethara Seva Bharathi President Jayakumar Nair jointly handed over the keys of the house. Seva Bharathi State Committee Member Smt. Seetha Shankar presented a Mangalapatra to the family. Major Sudhakaran Pillai of Vasavas Bhavan, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh District Sevapramukh N. Rajesh, District Education Officer Santosh, and District General Secretary Harish also participated in the program.
