BBengaluru: In a strong support to anti-drug activities in Kerala, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Seva Bharathi and NIMHANS (National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences), a leading national institute in Bengaluru. Dr. Vipin handed over the MoU to Seva Bharathi State General Secretary Dr. Sriram Shankar in a meeting held at the NIMHANS Digital Academy Conference Hall in Bengaluru on March 23. The function was attended by State Training Coordinator Smt. Nishi Ranjan and State Media Coordinator Sri Sreekumar. This collaboration will help in taking forward the Punarjani Counseling Centers started as part of the “Laharimukta Keralam” initiative in a more scientific and comprehensive manner.

• Professional training for counselors and volunteers

• Scientific guidelines on drug treatment and mental health

• Technical support for rehabilitation activities

The aim is to expand Punarjani Counseling Centers to all districts of Kerala.
