MMalappuram: Deseeya Sevabharathi Malappuram District Annual General Meeting was held on Sunday, 06 July 2025 at the KK Auditorium, Parappanangadi. The inaugural meeting was presided over by District President Mr. M. Babu and the Welcome Group Chairperson Mrs. Ramila Devi welcomed the gathering. Calicut University VC Dr. Raveendran inaugurated the function. He said that Seva Bharathi's concern for others is the need of the hour. He pointed out that Sevabharathi's work of integrating those in need of service in our society is in line with the concept of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, which is part of Indian culture. He said that the interventions, resource mobilization and human resource utilization by Sevabharathi workers during the last flood period are even a means of personal purification. He said that the work of Seva Bharathi is the embodiment of the phrase "Manava Seva Madhav Seva" spoken by Gandhiji, and he expressed all his support and gratitude to the workers.
District General Secretary Mr. E. T. Vidyadharan presented the minutes and work report of the last year. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Uttara Keralam Prant Karyavahak P. N. Easwaran gave the service message. District Vice President K. Jayaprakash proposed the vote of thanks. Then various units in the district presented a special circle of service work. Rashtriya Swayamsevaka Sangh Manya Vibag Sangh Chalak Mr.Charu announced the members of the Deseeya Sevabharathi Malappuram District Committee for the year 2025-26. The new committee consists of 29 members led by President Retd. Subedar Major Krishnan T, General Secretary V. Haridasan and Treasurer Mr. C. Muraleedharan.
The subsequent class meeting and the Sangha district meeting were attended by State Secretary Sathyabhama Teacher, State Secretary Dr. Krishnan Namboothiri, State Executive Member Dr. Sabu K Nair, District General Secretary Mr. E. T. Vidyadharan, Section Sevapramukh Mr. Ramankutty, and District Sevapramukh Mr. Vinod. In the closing session, Deseeya Sevabharathi Kerala State Secretary Dr. Krishnan Namboothiri gave the closing address. District Media Coordinator Mr. N. C. T. Ajith expressed his vote of thanks. The general meeting ended with the chanting of Shanti Mantra.
