
MMalappuram: The Malappuram District Workshop of Rashtriya Sevabharathi was held on July 26, 2026, at the Warrier Foundation Hall in Thirunavaya. The meeting was presided over by Retired Subedar Major Shri T. Krishnan, and Shri K. V. Unnikrishnan, District Committee Member, delivered the welcome address. District General Secretary Shri V. Haridasan presented the annual report and outlined the plan for the upcoming year. The workshop commenced with a video message from Dr. Sreeram Shankar, State General Secretary of Sevabharathi Kerala. The workshop was attended by a large number of functionaries, including office-bearers of Sevabharathi units across the district and members of the district and state committees. Detailed sessions were conducted on the need for adapting service activities to contemporary circumstances, organisational growth, working methodologies, and innovative approaches in the field of social service.
Sessions focusing on the organisation’s vision, mission, values, organisational culture, and social impact were conducted with the objective of enhancing the effectiveness of functionaries and strengthening organisational development, with emphasis on ethics, the spirit of service, and commitment. The sessions were led by State Secretary Shri E. T. Vidyadharan, Shri M. V. Krishnan (District Secretary), Shri O. Haridasan (Treasurer), and Shri N. C. T. Ajith.
During the concluding session, Shri Damodaran, Sah Seva Pramukh of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, North Kerala Province, announced the newly constituted 37-member District Executive Committee for the year 2026–27.Shri C. Santhosh Kumar was elected as President, Shri V. Haridasan as General Secretary, and Shri O. Haridasan as Treasurer. Shri K. V. Rajeev, Organisation Secretary of Sevabharathi Kerala, delivered the concluding address.
