""There are arts colleges all over the world... But i don't know if there are heart colleges anywhere!"
We can't find a college anywhere in the world for heart change but there is a movement here that has gone out for it. "Sevabharathi", a movement that is transforming the hearts of the people through its own work . Ours is a country where everything is diverse in dress, language, culture, food and worship practices. For example, in our north-eastern states there are about a thousand spoken languages that do not have a script. While all this remains a reality, in the vision of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam', which we have told the world, It is a great thing that we are able to live as a single family.
E.V. Ramasaminakar, popularly known as Tamil Makkal Periyar, is the best example of whose beliefs we don't question, but we are able to embrace and respect them as they are. This country is giving the world such a broad vision that it can respect the person who questioned the very existence of God. Sevabharathi is a movement that has put into practice the great word of Swami Vivekananda that we should be able to see God in the poor and the anjan.
The name of The Lord should be like a delicious food for one, and the more we want bhagavan to be loved by us, the devotee of the Lord should be dear to us. The words of Sri Rama Krishna Paramahamsa and Swami Vivekananda that there is no greater Maheshwara Seva than the service of man. Sevabharathi is a movement of those who have seen God in everyone and rendered their lives in service like the vratam of life.
Vivekananda's religion is that every life or person has the ability, that religion is to discover it, and that nothing else becomes 'religion'.
Man is one who accepts the act of altruism as dharma, and one who is not can only be seen as an animal, and Sevabharathi is the movement of those who perform that paramount human duty.
No one becomes immortal by birth. That all sinners have a future that belongs to spirituality is like the transformation created by the words we throw into their soul and into his heart, telling us the story of a thief becoming a very radiant monk. Vivekananda taught us how we should have an attitude towards every human being and his situation. Rashtriya Sevabharathi is able to imbibe Vivekananda's saying that if one can see God even in a thief, it will bring about changes in him as well. That is why Seva Bharati considers Manava Seva as Madhava Seva.
According to Vishwananda Swamigal, we human beings are all gods with shortcomings. Those shortcomings can disappear at any moment. Swami Vivekananda is a sanyasi shreshtha who stood up for social transformation. The monk said that he did not intend to go to heaven but that he was willing to wander in hell a thousand times, at least in order to be among those who seek social transformation. Having strived for social transformation through so much heart-change, we can firmly believe that he stands as an invisible force among us who are striving for the society we dreamt of, not only at this moment, but always, and with the firm belief that all his blessings and blessings will always be on Sevabharathi.
