SSevabharathi Ettumanoor, launches Pakal Veedu for mothers
A Pakal Veedu was started at Ramakrishna Building on Pala Road to spend time for mothers during the day, get together and conduct art and cultural activities. Former Sub-Registrar Smt Saraswathi Amma lit the lamp and inaugurated it at a function held at Ramakrishna Building at 10 am on Sunday, March 24. Dr Thangamma Soman delivered the keynote address at the meeting chaired by Dr V V Soman. The inaugural meeting was attended by Smt. Bindu B, Kottayam District Secretary of Deseeya Sevabharathi, Councillors of Ettumanoor Municipality, Ettumanoor Sevabharathi activists, general public and others.
The Pakal Veedu for mothers will function from 9 am to 5 pm. Along with this, every Wednesday from 4 pm to 6 pm, a free medical clinic of allopathy/homoeopathy is being conducted for the general public.
