AAn MOU was signed between the Changanassery-based Sukritam Charitable Trust and the Inter-University Center for Disability Studies, Kottayam. Apart from this, the first course "Diploma in Palliative and Special Care Assistants" six months online and off line course will be held at Changanassery Sukritamsevanilayam and the university campus based on Sukritamsevanilayam, which has become a sub-centre of MG University. Based on palliative care, geriatric wellness, disability and intensive care, the passers of this course will ensure job opportunities abroad and at home.
IUCDS Director Dr Baburaj Sukritham Charitable Trust General Secretary K P Sajikumar signed the MOU at a ceremony held at MG University Behavioral Science Department. Trust Chairman Prof P K Rajapan Nair received the MOU. IUCDS Resource Person Mrs. Sojagopalakrishnan Khand Karyawah Srikrishnakumar, Trust Vice Chairman Mr. P K Jayaprakash Secretary O R Haridas, Sewanilayam Administrator Mr. Anilkumar Course Coordinator Ms. Lakshmi Rajnith were present on the occasion.
