SSeva Bharati is constantly working to bring the backward sections of the society to the mainstream. The Kerala society is convinced to work together with the Seva Bharati Samaj organizations in all areas, both in times of danger and without. Seva Bharati is entering yet another stage in the list of service activities.
Bhudanam is a scheme that makes life time and generation of own little land and house a reality. So it is considered as a great gift. National Seva Bharati Kerala has been doing this good deed for many years with the cooperation of generous people by providing both land and home. National Seva Bharati is handing over 4 acres of land to 83 needy families in 8 districts during the state-level inauguration of land donation.
After the state-level inauguration, National Seva Bharati has decided to conduct land donation programs in various districts in the coming days. Although this activity has been done locally through Seva Bharati for many years, when it was introduced in the society as a continuous process, many individuals entrusted Seva Bharati with the responsibility of providing their land to the deserving people. We hope that individuals and organizations in the community will be motivated and inspired by this small initial donation of land.
Under the leadership of National Seva Bharati, 826 needy families who already own land have been able to complete the construction of houses through the project. A few months ago, due to the National Seva Bharati Resting Place Project in collaboration with Kochowsep Chitillapilly Foundation.
1000 houses are targeted. In the first phase of the initiative, 100 houses are being built in 14 districts.
Union Minister George Kurien will inaugurate the Bhoodanam - Shresthadanam program, a state-level event organized by generous landowners under the auspices of National Seva Bharati, on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 11 am at KPS Menon Hall, Shastri Road, Kottayam. In the said meeting, Rt. Justice Pathbhushan K. T Thomas, senior campaigners Mr. S Sethumadhavan, Mr. Ramanunny, Mr. P. P. Padmanabhan (Division Sanghachalak Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh), Dr. P. Balachandran Mannath (Patron National Seva Bharati Kerala) Dr. Ranjith Vijayahari (President National Seva Bharati Kerala) Dr. Sriram Shankar General Secretary (National Seva Bharati Kerala), Dr. E. P Krishnan Namboothiri (Vice President National Seva Bharati Kerala) State office bearers of National Seva Bharati, Important personalities of the district, representatives of voluntary organizations, prominent personalities in the socio-cultural field and many others will participate.
