TThe foundation stone laying ceremony of the house being constructed by Sevabharathi for P Ramani near Poovathur bridge in Cheruvanchery, Koothuparamba, was held. Seeing the plight of C Ramani and her two daughters, who live in an uninhabitable house near Poovathur bridge, the Sevabharathi Padayam unit decided to build a new house. A 650-square-foot house, including two bedrooms, is being constructed on the land named after Ramani. Ramani was working as 'Thozhilurappu ' worker to support her family, after the death of her husband Komath Raveendran. Seva Bharati was coming forward to fulfil the dream of a house for them. Sevabharathi Padayam panchayath unit president K. Sasidharan, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Koothuparambu Khand Karyavah Shinil Shankar, Padayam grama panchayat member N. Sasidharan and others were present.
