KKannur : On the occasion of Veerapazhassi Memorial Day, a Mega Medical Camp was organized on November 30 (Sunday) at the Keeliyangad Veerapazhassi Seva Kendra under the joint paln of Sevabharathi Mattannur, Veerapazhassi Grama Seva Samithi Keeliyangad, Ahalya Eye Foundation Hospital Kannur, and Baby Memorial Hospital Kannur. The camp was inaugurated by Mattannur Municipal Councillor Shri A. Madhusoodanan. Sevabharathi Mattannur Secretary Shri Anoop Kallikkandi presided over the function. Veerapazhassi Grama Seva Samithi Secretary Shri V. A. Vinod delivered the welcome address. Ahalya Eye Foundation Hospital Kannur PRO Shri Rajeesh K. R. delivered a talk on the importance of eye care. Dr. Vishnu Menon, Surgeon, Oncology Department, Baby Memorial Hospital, conducted a class on the rise of lifestyle diseases and the current cancer scenario.
Shri K. M. Sreejith offered the vote of thanks. More than a hundred people benefited from the services of the Mega Medical Camp.
