KKannur : Seva Bharati Kannur District Shelter Centre Inaugurated. The Seva Bharati Kannur District Shelter Centre has commenced operations at Sree Narayana Road, Chettipeedika, Pallikkunnu. The centre was inaugurated by Suryakanth Makhecha, President of the North Malabar Chamber of Commerce. The function was presided over by Seva Bharati District President E. Mohanan. Swami Premananda of Sivagiri Mutt delivered the benedictory address, while Seva Bharati State President Dr. Ranjith Vijayahari spoke on the theme “Vision of the Shelter Centre.”
During the event, Dr. Santhosh, DMO In-charge of Kasaragod, distributed organ donation consent certificate forms. Corporation Councillors Adv. Archana Vandichal and Deepthi Vinod also addressed the gathering. RSS Uttar Prant Sanghachalak Adv. K.K. Balaram delivered the service message. A freezer donated to Seva Bharati by Dr. Padmasurendra Sharma was formally handed over during the ceremony. District General Secretary K. Ramakrishnan delivered the welcome address, while District Secretary Adv. M. Neeraj proposed the vote of thanks. The shelter centre has been established on an 11-cent property, including a house, generously donated to the Seva Bharati District Committee by the Shobhana–Jayaraj couple.
