KKollam : The 2026 District Workshop of Deseeya Sevabharathi Kollam, was held on Sunday, July 26, at Dhanya Auditorium, Kottarakkara, under the chairmanship of District President Dr. K. Sreekumar. The workshop was inaugurated by Sevabharathi State Vice President Shri D. Vijayan. Shri G. Jayaram, Seva Pramukh of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Kollam Vibhag, attended as the chief guest. District General Secretary Shri P. S. Sreejith presented the annual activity report.
The workshop commenced with a video message from Dr. Sreeram Sankar, State General Secretary of Seva Bharati.
The event was attended by Seva Bharati unit office-bearers from across the district, members of the district and state committees, and RSS Khand-level functionaries. Sessions focused on the evolving nature of service activities in the contemporary context, organizational development, and emerging approaches to social service. Presentations on the organization's vision, mission, values, organizational culture, and social impact emphasized strengthening institutional development through the values of integrity, selfless service, and commitment. The sessions were led by Smt. Aparna, State Punarjani Coordinator; Shri D. Vijayan, State Vice President; and Shri P. S. Sreejith, District Secretary.
During the valedictory session, participants were briefed on the projects and initiatives to be undertaken by Sevabharathi units during the 2026–27 operational year.
Dr. B. S. Pradeep Kumar, Sanghachalak of RSS Kollam Vibhag, announced the Sevabharathi Kollam District Committee for the year 2026–27 and delivered the concluding Seva Sandesh (message of service).
The newly announced 31-member district committee will be led by Dr. K. Sreekumar as President, Shri P. S. Sreejith as General Secretary, and Shri Gopakumar G. P. as Treasurer.
