KKollam: Seva Bharathi Mayyanad organized a talent gathering and award ceremony to honor students who achieved high scores in SSLC and Plus Two examinations and individuals who have excelled in various fields at the Peedikamukku Chetti Mahasabha Hall. The function, chaired by Unit President Sri Satish Kumar, was inaugurated by Seva Bharathi State Vice President Sri D. Vijayan and other dignitaries by lighting the Bhadradeepam.
Speaking on the occasion, Sri D. Vijayan quoted the lines of Sugathakumari Teacher "When a thousand hands rise for mercy, can we touch at least a hundred of them?" and reminded them of the need to reach out to as many people in the society as possible. Sri Krishnankutty, who delivered the keynote address, pointed out that the real power behind social transformation is the selfless work of the Swayamsevaks. He called for working together for the good of the society by upholding the ideal of "Bahujana Hitaya, Bahujana Sukhaya", and a strong society is formed when each worker becomes a light.
The function was attended by Kottiyam Nagar Sanghchalak Shri Rajeev, Seva Bharathi Kollam District Treasurer Shri Gopakumar, and Patron Shri Nanuthampi. On this occasion, Pratibha awards were distributed to individuals who have shown excellence in various fields, and felicitation certificates were distributed to students who have achieved high results in SSLC and Plus Two examinations. Committee Secretary Gulzar welcomed the gathering, and Media Coordinator Rahul V.T. expressed his gratitude.
