KKozhikode: The 2026 District Workshop of Deseeya Sevabharathi Kozhikode was held on Sunday, August 2, at the Koyilandy Municipal Town Hall, under the chairmanship of District President Shri K. Suneesh Kumar. District Secretary Shri K. K. Sudheesh delivered the welcome address, while District Secretary Smt. Anju Devi presented the annual activity report.
On the occasion, Master Harinand, son of Shri Mohanan, Treasurer of Sevabharathi Unnikulam, who won a medal at the Asian Arm Boxing Championship, was felicitated for his outstanding achievement.
The workshop commenced with a video message from Dr. Sreeram Shankar, State General Secretary of Sevabharathi. The event was attended by Sevabharathi unit office bearers from across the district, district and state committee members, and numerous volunteers. A series of in-depth sessions focused on the evolving needs of service activities in the contemporary social context, organisational growth, effective working methods, and innovative approaches to community service. Special classes aimed at enhancing organisational efficiency and strengthening leadership were conducted by Smt. Anju Devi, Smt. Nishi Ranjan, Smt. Sreeja B. P., and Dr. Ajin. The sessions covered topics including the organisation's vision, mission, core values, organisational culture, and social impact, while emphasising ethics, the spirit of service, and commitment.
During the valedictory session, Smt. Anju Devi presented the annual goals for the 2026–27 working year. Subsequently, Shri P. Baiju, Vibhag Seva Pramukh of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), announced the new office bearers of Deseeya Sevabharathi Kozhikode District for the 2026–27 term. Shri K. V. Rajeev, State Organisation Secretary, delivered the concluding message on service.
A 32-member District Committee for the 2026–27 working year was announced under the leadership of Dr. Venugopal (President), Smt. Anju Devi (General Secretary), and Smt. Sreeja B. P. (Treasurer). The vote of thanks was delivered by District Committee Member Shri Satheesh.
