VVadakara: The Kunnummal unit of Seva Bharati, in collaboration with 'Angels Vadakara,' organized a Basic Life Support (BLS) training program for the general public at Vattoli Vyasa Vidyapeetham. Dr. P. K. Sashindran inaugurated the session.
The training was led by a team from 'Angels Vadakara'—a group headed by the prominent local physician Dr. K. M. Abdulla—comprising nurses Jasmine, Sharmina, Swathi, and Jasa Fathima. Participants received hands-on training in first aid for various emergencies, including burns, snakebites, drowning, wounds, fractures, seizures, and choking, as well as instruction in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Through this training, participants gained the practical knowledge and skills necessary to intervene effectively and save lives during emergencies. A total of 75 individuals of various age groups, including Seva Bharati volunteers, took part in the program.
During the event, Seva Bharati honored C. P. Krishnan, the secretary of the organization's Kunnummal unit, for achieving an Arabian world record in the field of 'mentalism.' C. P. Krishnan delivered the welcome address, while unit president P. Sajeevan presided over the function. Rupesh K. proposed the vote of thanks.
