IIdukki : Sevabharathi Vazathope Samithi and Thodupuzha Ahalya Foundation Eye Hospital jointly organized a free eye check-up and basic thyroid test camp on Sunday, 19th October 2025, from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM at MGLC Hall, Maniyaran Kudi – Vattamedu Basti village.
The inaugural function was presided over by Samithi President Mr. Subash K. S., and the camp was inaugurated by Lions Club Idukki District Coordinator Mr. Jain Agastian. SevaBharathi District Organizational Secretary Mr. T. K. Ramachandran delivered the Seva Sandesham (message of service). District Secretary Mrs. Ranjini Ramdas offered felicitations. Samithi Secretary Mr. S. Ajith Kumar welcomed the gathering, and Vice President Mr. E. N. Bineesh proposed the vote of thanks.
A total of 165 people received free eye check-ups, and 67 people underwent free basic thyroid tests. The smooth conduct of the camp was made possible with the dedicated support of 25 Samithi volunteers and a medical team of 9 members, including doctors, from Ahalya Foundation Eye Hospital.
