NNational Seva Bharati Idukki District Conference - 2024
Sevabharati Idukki District Conference was held on Sunday 21st July at Saraswati Vidyapeeth School, Vellayamkudi, Kattappana and 154 activists including 138 executive members from Panchayat/Municipality Committees of the district participated in the conference.
Dr. Robin Joseph Abraham (Associate Professor, Department of Paediatrics, SUT Academy of Medical Science, Thiruvananthapuram) inaugurated the conference presided over by Idukki District President Mr. VK Shaji.
"Voluntary organizations like Seva Bharati are an essential part of democracy, and the self-sacrifice and dedication of its workers strengthens the democratic system. This kind of fruitless thinking can easily find answers to what we should do and how we should do it. A solution to the corruptions seen in the society today can only be achieved by a group of Swayamsevaks who naturally hold such philosophies."
District General Secretary Mr. Santhosh Kumar PG presented the annual report and National Seva Bharati Vice President Dr. V Narayanan delivered the keynote address. Finally, during the inaugural term, the district office bearers for the year 2024-25 were announced. Then Shri KV Rajeev, Shri Hari C Shekhar, Shri VK Shaji Dr. Narayanan gave training to the workers on the topics of Sevabasti/Sevagram, Child Culture - Kishori Vikas Yojana, Youth on Seva Patha, Lahari Mukta Kerala - Aarogya Yukta Kerala.
In the closing session, State Organization Secretary Shri KV Rajeev gave a message....
"Any activity of Seva Bharati must originate in the minds of the activists, if it can be successfully realized. Seva Bharati today has more social recognition than ever before. We should see this as an opportunity for us to come up with more activities that will benefit the society. Seva Bharati is a completely organic organization and the trustees must always take care to maintain the feeling that it belongs to all."
