IIdukki: The Deseeya Sevabharathi Idukki District Annual General Meeting was held on Sunday, July 6 at Thodupuzha Saraswathi Central School under the chairmanship of District Patron Shri K. Raveendran Nair. Former DGP Dr. Jacob Thomas IPS, while inaugurating the annual meeting, suggested that Sevabharathi should be able to carry out service activities with care in today's society, which is economically and socially backward due to the intrusion of drugs every day.
Awards were distributed to the committees that carried out the best service and charity work at the annual general meeting. Tapasya State President Professor P. G. Haridas, RSS South Kerala Pranth Sevapramukh Shri G.V.Girish, RSS Vibhag Sanghchalak Shri K. N. Raju, Deseeya Sevabharathi State Vice President Shri P.K.Unnikrishnan, District General Secretary Shri.Santhosh Kumar P. G. and Shri M.V.Jayan attended the meeting. The district committee office bearers for the next year were elected at the annual general meeting attended by members and office bearers of the entire committee in the district. The twenty-four-member committee headed by K. Raveendran Nair Thodupuzha, C. M. Gopi Adimali, President M. V. Jayan, Adimali Vice President Hari C. Shekhar, Dr. Neetu P. R., Robert Joseph, Vijaya N. G., General Secretary P. G. Santhosh Kumar, Secretary Ranjini T. K., Anoop Rajappan, Priya Sunil, Treasurer K. R. Raghu, P. C. Manoj Media Coordinator, and Organization Secretary T. K. Ramachandran were elected.
