IIdukki : The Seva Bharati Idukki District Workshop for the year 2026–27 was held on Sunday, July 26, at the Aayiram Acre Subrahmanya Swamy Temple Auditorium, Adimali, under the chairmanship of District President Shri M. V. Jayan. The workshop was attended by Seva Bharati unit functionaries from across the district, members of the District and State Committees, and Khand-level functionaries of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The programme commenced with a video message from Dr. Sreeram Shankar, State General Secretary of Seva Bharati. The workshop featured sessions on the changing dimensions of service activities in the modern era, the evolving needs of society, and innovative approaches to enhancing the effectiveness of service initiatives. Resource persons led discussions on the organisation's Vision, Mission, Values, Culture, and Impact, guiding participants on institution building and sustainable organisational development. The sessions also emphasized strengthening the efficiency and leadership of volunteers by fostering value-based principles such as integrity, selfless service, and commitment.

Delivering the valedictory address, Smt. P. R. Rajimol, State Treasurer of Seva Bharati, said that the organisation remains committed to building a service-oriented society that contributes meaningfully to nation-building. She stressed the importance of working with clarity of purpose, dedication, and a strong sense of social responsibility.

The workshop also presented the key projects and service initiatives to be undertaken by Seva Bharati units during the 2026–27 year, providing participants with a roadmap for effective implementation.

During the meeting, Shri E. N. Suresh, Vibhag Seva Pramukh, announced the 21-member Seva Bharati Idukki District Committee for 2026–27, led by Shri Robert Joseph as President, Shri Santhosh Kumar P. G. as General Secretary, and Shri K. R. Raghu as Treasurer. As part of Farmers' Day observance, fruit tree saplings were distributed to unit office-bearers for planting in their respective committee areas. The saplings were handed over under the leadership of Shri C. N. Gopi, District Patron.
