VVengola Sevabharathi and State Bank of India jointly launched jan dhan account mela (cash less), a central government scheme, and introduced various welfare schemes. The mela was inaugurated by Shri B Vijayakumar, Ernakulam District Vice President, Deseeya Sevabharathi, at 10.30 am on Monday, February 26, 2024, at Vengola Bathani Sevabharathi Office. At the meeting, Vengola Sevabharathi Unit President Shri. Satheesh K R (Ratheesh Poonoor) presided over the function and Deseeya Sevabharathi Ernakulam district general secretary Shri. Biju Narayan delivered a seva message.
In the mela that followed, 135 people from different areas of the panchayat joined it and Smt. Pratibha, MANAGER, SBI FI, introduced and explained various welfare schemes through banks of the Central Government. Activists of the Vengola unit led the fair. Ernakulam district karyakartas of Sevabharathi participated in the fair and gave necessary guidance.
