EErnakulam: The Deseeya Seva Bharathi Ernakulam District Annual General Meeting was held on Sunday, July 6 2025 - 10 am at the Gouriswaram Auditorium, Cherai. The meeting was inaugurated by the Chairman and Managing Director of Cochin Shipyard Shri. Madhu S Nair, under the chairmanship of the Deseeya Seva Bharathi Ernakulam District President Shri. Anoop Raj. In the speech of Shri.madhu s nair, he spoke about the activities of Seva Bharathi, the spirit of service and the exemplary way of life, quoting lines reflecting the vision of Rabindranath Tagore about a free and awakened India.
In today's society, which is economically and socially backward due to the intrusion of drugs every day, the Deseeya Seva Bharathi Ernakulam District Patron, Retd. Justice Bhaskaran, appealed to the Seva Bharathi to be able to carry out service activities with care. DeseeyaSeva Bharathi Ernakulam District Secretary Shri K R Jinesh welcomed the gathering and District General Secretary Shri A N Biju presented the minutes and annual report.
Akhil Bharatiya Seema Jagaran Manch Samrakshak Shri A Gopalakrishnanji gave the service message. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Vibhag Sanghchalak Shri Aameda Vasudevan Namboothiri announced the new office bearers for the year 2025 - 2026 in the general meeting. A 35-member administrative committee including President Shri Anoop Raj, General Secretary Shri A N Biju and Treasurer Vijayakumar were elected for the next year's work. Then, Shri Aameda Vasudevan Namboothiri presented a gift to the inaugural address by Shri Madhu Sir. District Secretary Smt. Shanthi Anand closed the inaugural meeting by expressing gratitude.
In the Sangh District Baitak held after lunch, Southern Kerala Pranth Gram Vikas Co-Coordinator - Shri C. G. Kamalakanthan, Sahaseva Pramukh - Shri T. A. Sudhi, Deseeya Seva Bharathi Keralam State Media Coordinator Shri G. Sreekumar gave a lecture to the Seva Bharathi activists. Then, in the closing session held under the chairmanship of Deseeya Seva Bharathi Ernakulam District President Shri Anoop Raj, Deseeya Seva Bharathi Kerala State Secretary Smt. Nishi Ranjan gave a closing message to the Seva Bharathi activists. Then, Ernakulam Section Pariyavaran Co-Coordinator Shri P. S. Manikandan Ji gave a vote of thanks and concluded the annual general meeting with a peace mantra.
