EErnakulam : Palliative Care Training for New Volunteers Conducted by Seva Bharati Ernakulam. A palliative care training programme for new volunteers of Seva Bharati Ernakulam District was conducted on April 25 and 26, 2026, at Sree Poornathrayeesa Balashramam, Tripunithura. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Venugopal R., Managing Director of VKM Hospital, Tripunithura. A total of 37 participants attended the two-day training programme. Various sessions were led by Mr. Jose Pulimoottil, Project Director of the Seva Bharati Kerala Sukrutham Palliative Care Training Project; Sister Archana, Palliative Nursing Trainer of Seva Bharati Kerala; and Ashwanth, Palliative Project Coordinator of Seva Bharati Kerala.
The valedictory session featured a closing message by Mr. Radhakrishna Menon, All India Secretary of NAPCAIM. Mr. Ragesh, Nagar Karyavah of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Tripunithura; Mr. A.N. Biju, District General Secretary of National Seva Bharati; and Dr. Arun Santhosh, District Health Wing Convener, also attended the programme.
