KKottayam : Sabarimala pilgrimage season, the help centre organized every year by Deseeya Sevabharathi Kottayam for pilgrims has started functioning this year at Kottayam District Medical College. The inauguration held on November 16 was carried out by Kottayam District Collector Shri Chetan Kumar Meena. Kottayam Medical College Superintendent Dr. T. K. Jayakumar, Principal Dr. Varghese P. Punnose, Deputy Superintendent Dr. Ratheesh Kumar R, Tahsildar, officials from the Revenue Department, staff of the medical college, and Sevabharathi volunteers were present at the inaugural ceremony. During the Sabarimala pilgrimage season, Sevabharathi operates service centres at various locations in Kottayam district. These centres are coordinated through the Medical College Helpdesk to ensure that necessary medical services are delivered efficiently to the pilgrims. Pilgrims can avail medical assistance, guidance, and emergency support from here.
Palliyampuram : As part of the Sabarimala pilgrimage season, the Ayyappa Seva Centre jointly organized by Ramapuram Sevabharathi and Palliyampuram Sree Mahadeva Temple has commenced its services at the premises of Palliyampuram Mahadeva Temple. The inauguration ceremony was presided over by Sevabharathi Panchayat Committee President Sri M. P. Srinivas. Sri P. Radhakrishnan, Secretary of the Palliyampuram Temple Committee, lit the ceremonial lamp and formally inaugurated the Seva Centre. Renowned Bhagavatha Sapthaham Acharyan Sri P. K. Vyasan delivered a blessing speech, adding grace and significance to the occasion. The organisers announced that throughout the pilgrimage season, the Seva Centre will provide daily annadanam (free meals), drinking water supply, emergency medical assistance, and various other services for Ayyappa devotees.
Ettumanoor : The Ayyappa Seva Centre set up for pilgrims at the Ettumanoor Mahadeva Temple premises has begun functioning under the leadership of the Sevabharathi Ettumanoor unit. Sevabharathi Kottayam district vice president Shri K. Ravindran Nair inaugurated the centre by lighting the traditional lamp. District and unit-level volunteers participated in the inauguration ceremony. The centre offers several facilities for pilgrims, including an information desk, medical assistance, mechanic support for vehicle breakdowns and general checks, purified drinking water, and arrangements for resting such as providing mats. The Seva Centre will continue its services throughout the pilgrimage season with the aim of ensuring a safe and comfortable pilgrimage experience for devotees.
Thalassery : The Ayyappa Seva Centre (Sabarimala Transit Camp) started by Sevabharathi at the premises of Thiruvangad Sreeramaswami Temple was inaugurated by former Sabarimala Melshanti Shri Jayaraman Namboothiri. Volunteers informed that throughout the pilgrimage season, the Seva Centre will provide various services to Ayyappa devotees, including daily annadanam (free meals), drinking water distribution, and emergency medical assistance.
Aranmula : As part of the Sabarimala pilgrimage season, Sevabharathi Mallappuzhassery and Aranmula units jointly started an Ayyappa Seva Centre at Aranmula. The centre was formally inaugurated on 18-11-2025 by Shri Vatsan Thillankeri. For the convenience of Sabarimala pilgrims during the pilgrimage period, the centre has arranged services such as medical assistance, drinking water, food, resting facilities, and an information helpdesk. The organising committee informed that all preparations required to provide comprehensive and dedicated services to the pilgrims have been completed.
