DDistrict Level Apath Seva Training
The Apath Seva (Disaster Management) training for key workers in Alappuzha, Kollam and Pathanamthitta districts was conducted online for five days from February 12 to February 16 (via Google Meet) and on February 18, in person at Mannarassala, Kollam and Pathanamthitta from morning to evening. A number of skilled individuals had come as district-level trainers in the training held in nine subjects. The volunteers were given detailed classes on disasters, relief activities, preparedness, follow-up activities, coordination with government agencies, civic duty in disaster situations, first aid, experiences of disaster management activities in the past, and clearing doubts.
The training programmes were attended by state and district office bearers of Rashtriya Sevabharathi and karyakartas of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
