AAlappuzha: Seva Bharati’s Alappuzha District Committee and its Ambalappuzha unit have been honored in recognition of their significant contributions: they recorded the highest number of blood donations during the 2025–26 period and have maintained a consistent service of donating a fixed quantity of blood weekly to the Vandanam Medical College Blood Bank throughout 2026–27. During a ceremony held at Vandanam Medical College as part of National Blood Donation Day, the college Principal, Dr. Shanimol, and the Superintendent, Dr. Lakshmi, presented a certificate and a memento to Seva Bharati. The award was received by Mr. Jithesh, the Alappuzha District Treasurer of Seva Bharati, and Mr. Satheesh, the Secretary of the Ambalappuzha unit.
