DDrinking Water Scarcity Worsens In Chennithala 1st Ward ....
The scarcity of drinking water continues to be acute in the first ward of Chennithala Thripperunthura panchayath. The locals are forced to buy water by paying for the needs of the house. There has been a shortage of drinking water in this ward for the past two months. There is no water available even for annadanam at this place where festivals including 'Kala Kettu' are held. The locals approached Chennithala Sevabharathi raising this issue and as a temporary relief, Sevabharathi provided 5000 litres of drinking water here. Sevabharathi Chennithala unit president K Raghunath, secretary Mohanan Pillai, committee members Sadasivan Nair, Ramesh, Prajitha, Sreekala and Sasidharan Nair led the drinking water supply.
