KKayamkulam: On the evening of May 14, 2025, Ward member Sarathkumar Pattathil, after seeing the condition of Salim, a cancer patient (living in Ward 9 of Krishnapuram Panchayat), who was found lying in a ditch south of the Kurakavu temple, informed the office bearers of Seva Bharathi Krishnapuram. Subsequently, the office bearers of Seva Bharathi, along with the palliative team, reached the spot and provided him with the necessary comfort care as the first step. They also informed the primary health center, from where the health inspector's team arrived and informed the panchayat.
Since further treatment was required in his serious condition, Seva Bharathi took all the responsibilities (including finances and companions) and took steps to take him to Thiruvananthapuram RCC that very night and provide him with the necessary treatment. The workers and locals of Seva Bharathi Krishnapuram are confident that the brother will be able to return to a new life due to the positive intervention of Seva Bharathi Krishnapuram.
