kkeralam : Following heavy rainfall across the state, homes in various districts were inundated, and incidents such as landslides caused extensive damage. In affected areas across these districts, Seva Bharati volunteers spearheaded round-the-clock rescue operations. They led efforts to relocate residents from disaster-hit zones and organized the collection and distribution of essential supplies, including water, food, and clothing. The Periya area of Thavinjal Panchayat experienced widespread flooding due to the heavy rains; consequently, Seva Bharati volunteers used traditional boats (*kottathoni*) to evacuate numerous families to safety and relief camps. The accompanying report and photograph, published in *Gulf News* the following day, highlight these relief efforts.
