AAn extensive mushroom cultivation training was organized as part of the Sevabharati Swavalamban activity in Kozhinjampara. The objective of this training was to give farmers a clear understanding of various aspects of mushroom cultivation.
13/10/2024 Mr. Masilamani, who has a long experience in mushroom cultivation, conducted the classes from ten o'clock to twelve o'clock in the morning at Saraswati Vidyalaya, Kozhijanambara.
The training included detailed lectures on mushroom types, cultivation methods, care and harvesting. Besides, the farmers were also introduced to the practical method of mushroom cultivation.
This training has opened up avenues for the farmers of Kozanjampara to grow their own mushrooms and generate income. With mushroom cultivation becoming a lucrative profession, this training is highly relevant.
