Under the leadership of Sevabharathi Thalayazham, a medical camp was conducted at Thottakam CKM School in collaboration with Amrita Hospital, Ernakulam. The eye and dental check-up camp, which was held on April 6, was inaugurated by Brahmacharini Naivedyamrita Chaitanya of Vaikom Mata Amritanandamayi Math by lighting the bhadra deepam. At a function presided over by Sevabharathi Thalayazham unit president Shri Shajil S, Deseeya Sevabharathi Kottayam district vice-president Shri MA Rajeev delivered the seva sandesha. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Khand Seva Pramukh Viju Gopalakrishnan spoke on the occasion. Secretary Shibu Gopinath welcomed the gathering and NK Sabu expressed his gratitude. A total of 273 people attended the camp, of which 45 were selected from the dental department and 28 from the ophthalmology department for further treatment.
