TThe second day of the two-day palliative care training program under the leadership of Deseeya Sevabharathi Alappuzha was inaugurated by the owner of Shankers Lab Shyamkhalas and the chairman of Red Cross International Alappuzha district Dr. Manikumar inaugurated. Deseeya Sevabharathi District Vice President Ganesh Palayam presided over the camp. District Samamedia Convenor S. Rajikumar, District Secretary KV Rajesh and Samajikam Convener Balagopal spoke. The classes were conducted by Jose Pulimoot, Palliative Trainer of National Association of Palliative Care under AYUSH and Palliative Trainer of Deseeya Sevabharathi Keralam in a very simple and efficient manner on innovative methods of palliative care, innovative methods of caring for bed patients, elderly and special needs at home. The closing assembly and certificate distribution took place from 3.30 pm. District Health Department Convener and Ashwani Ayurveda Clinic Director Dr. J. Dayal Kumar inaugurated the certificate distribution and the concluding session. Sevabharati District President Dr. Ss. Satish Kumar presided. Deseeya Sevabharathi Keralam State Secretary M. Rajeev gave the closing message. Certificates were awarded to more than 70 delegates who participated in the training. All the participants shared their experiences.
